The college football season is pretty much at the halfway point and SI has completed its list of Mid-Season All-Americans. The list is as follows:

LB: James Laurinaitis, Jr., Ohio State
CB: Aqib Talib, Jr., Kansas

SPECIAL TEAMS

P: Durant Brooks, Sr., Georgia Tech
KR: Felix Jones, Jr., Arkansas
PR: Eddie Royal, Sr., Virginia Tech
While our list is a solid one, we could make a few modifications to it. Dennis Dixon of Oregon is having an unbelievable turnaround from last season (12 TD’s, 2 INT’s) has the ability replace Tim Tebow and has Oregon in the hunt for a National Championship. At cornerback, Travious Polo of Florida Atlantic has shown unbelievable coverage skills with his 7 interceptions, which lead the nation. On the other hand, FAU’s 3-3 record makes Polo’s impact a bit cloudy in comparison to the likes to Talib and Mickens, both of whom are on unbeaten teams.
