The college football season is pretty much at the halfway point and SI has completed its list of Mid-Season All-Americans.  The list is as follows:

OFFENSE

QB: Tim Tebow, So., Florida

RB: Mike Hart, Sr., Michigan

RB: Darren McFadden, Jr., Arkansas

WR: Michael Crabtree, Fr., Texas Tech

WR: Jordy Nelson, Sr., Kansas State

TE: Martin Rucker, Sr., Missouri

OL: Gosder Cherilus, Sr., Boston College

OL: Ryan Clady, Jr., Boise State

OL: Jake Long, Sr., Michigan

OL: Jonathan Luigs, Jr., Arkansas

OL: Alex Mack, Jr., Cal

DEFENSE

DE: George Selvie, So., South Florida

DT: Glenn Dorsey, Sr., LSU

DT: Sedrick Ellis, Sr., USC

DE: Chris Long, Sr., Virginia

LB: Jordon Dizon, Sr., Colorado

LB: Ali Highsmith, Sr., LSU

LB: James Laurinaitis, Jr., Ohio State

CB: Aqib Talib, Jr., Kansas

S: Jamie Silva, Sr., Boston College

S: Craig Steltz, Sr., LSU

CB: Mike Mickens, Jr., Cincinnati

SPECIAL TEAMS

K: Swayze Waters, Jr., UAB

P: Durant Brooks, Sr., Georgia Tech

KR: Felix Jones, Jr., Arkansas

PR: Eddie Royal, Sr., Virginia Tech

While our list is a solid one, we could make a few modifications to it.  Dennis Dixon of Oregon is having an unbelievable turnaround from last season (12 TD’s, 2 INT’s) has the ability replace Tim Tebow and has Oregon in the hunt for a National Championship.  At cornerback, Travious Polo of Florida Atlantic has shown unbelievable coverage skills with his 7 interceptions, which lead the nation.  On the other hand, FAU’s 3-3 record makes Polo’s impact a bit cloudy in comparison to the likes to Talib and Mickens, both of whom are on unbeaten teams.
