Michigan and Notre Dame face off Saturday in a battle of 0-2 powerhouses. In preparation for the game, SIOC had a student at each school debate which team had the better chance of winning. The truth is that we can compare stats and strategy all we want, but if games were won on paper, nobody would have ever heard of Appalachian State. The reason the game has garnered so much interest is because of the schools. Both may have a loyal fanbase, but they also have a long line of detractors who would like nothing more than the game to end in a tie so each team remains without a victory.
Today, we want to know which school you hate more -- and why. Notre Dame may be everyone's favorite punching bag, but there certainly is a level of arrogance among Michigan fans that rubs people the wrong way. So who do you want to see 0-3 come Saturday night -- Michigan or Notre Dame?
