The Best Facebook Groups

Imagine college without Facebook. Seems kinda hard, doesn’t it? Well, back in the day (five years ago) there was no Facebook and people had to make friends the old fashioned way -- by meeting them and (gasp) asking for their number so they could keep in touch. And if you wanted to connect with students from other schools who share a common interest, say people with a disdain for Billy Packer, forget about it. All you had were the fellow students on your campus, and maybe the school a couple towns over you visited. But for today’s college student, it’s a whole ‘nother world

Our favorite part about Facebook, without a doubt, are the groups. Where else can you join of a network of people debating whether Bobby Bowden is a football genius … or confused geezer. Or if Mike Krzyzewski is the Ugliest Man on the Face of the Earth? Or are personal favorite: Charlie Weis is one cheeseburger away from death. Whatever your likes or dislikes are – chances are good there’s a Facebook group you can join. Heck, , even SIOC has one (which you should all join – here’s the link).
