Let the debates begin! The USA Today released its preseason Top 25 on Friday and here’s how it shakes out:

Obviously, preseason rankings are just a barometer of where the teams stand going into the season and nobody knows what’s going to happen between now and the BCS Championship game on Jan. 7. But there were a few things that struck us when looking at the USA Today’s rankings. First and foremost, it’s nice to see Notre Dame out of the Top 25. We know the Irish are weak this year, but we thought they may squeak in on reputation alone. It’s nice to see that didn’t happen. Secondly, we think Boise State deserves a higher ranking. The Broncos finished last season undefeated, returns many of their top players and deserve better than the No. 23 ranking.
