Clearly, one of the lightning rods of NBC's telecasts has been gymnastics analyst Bela Karolyi. His expertise is unquestioned. Some (like me) think he shouldn't be in the analyst's chair because his wife, Marta, is coach of the U.S. women's team. Others, however, think he's a hoot. As my penpal Brad Dickson e-mailed me: "I'm not a gymnastics fan, I just watch to see if Bela gets so worked up his head finally explodes on-air."
