You'd have to include Rick Telander, Jack McCallum (who played at Muhlenberg College and came out of 13 years of hoops retirement for that book-launch game), Alexander Wolff and Dan Patrick (who once shattered a backboard, then brought a cup of the glass into work and dumped it on the desk as proof).

Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub joined the show to talk about their loss to the Titans on Monday Night Football.

Schaub said the Texans missed a lot of opportunities and they shouldn't have needed to go the final minute.

Schaub talked about the final play from scrimmage. He said if the coaches were talking about taking a shot at the end zone with 8 seconds left, he didn't hear about it in his headset. Schaub thought they were definitely in good position for kicker Kris Brown.

Dan asked Schaub if he can have his spirits up for having a good game last night. "It's hard to take silver lining away from losses, regardless of if you do some good things," Schaub said.

Schaub had nice things to say about Tennessee's Vince Young and Chris Johnson. He said Johnson definitely belongs in the same conversation with Adrian Peterson as the best running back in the NFL.

Schaub said that he will have a big Thanksgiving dinner with his teammates and family. He said everyone was invited on the team that needed somewhere to go.

Peter King: Vince Young should be Titans QB of the future

        <intro></intro>

SI.com's Peter King joined the show to discuss the big stories in the NFL.

King thinks Vince Young deserves a lot of credit for the Titans' four-game win streak and he's doing everything the team is asking of him. King said that Young told him that Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger wants him to run.

King also said that Young has to be the Titans quarterback of the future. "I'd be stunned if they don't choose to have him be their guy," King said.

King said the time off has helped Young and he's a different quarterback.

"He's a 64 percent passer. He's much more of a leader. He's admitted he's learned a lot from sitting behind Kerry Collins," King said.

King also weighed in Buffalo Bills head coaching search.

"Why would you want to take the Buffalo job right now with no quarterback of the future?" King asked. "If you wait six weeks, there's probably going to be about six jobs open. Why would you commit to one now?"

King says he thinks Mike Shanahan, Bill Cowher and Mike Holmgren will have better options.

Peter Read Miller/SI

FOX NFL analyst Jimmy Johnson joined the show to talk about the big topics around the league.

Jonson said that he's a big fan of Vince Young. He thinks mobile quarterbacks are great, but the establishment doesn't always like to try something different.

"Coaches -- it doesn't make any difference or they're pro or college -- they're so set in their ways, sometimes they try to fit a square peg into a round hole," Johnson said.

However, Johnson isn't sold on Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. "I don't think Tim Tebow can play in the NFL if it's in a pro style offense," Johnson said.

Johnson said a team will have to do one of two things with Tebow. Either turn him into an H-Back and receiver. Or if you use him at quarterback, you have to change the offense and probably the head coach.

Johnson also commented on his former team in Dallas: "Those wide receivers have got to step up. ... Teams have figured out if you take Jason Witten away ... those wide receivers, they may or may not make the play."

Dan asked Jimmy if the Notre Dame job was still a big-time job. "I think it's a prime job if you get an outstanding recruiter," Johnson said.

The former Miami Hurricanes coach said the last Fighting Irish few coaches have just assumed Notre Dame would recruit itself. Johnson said Charlie Weis is a friend and a good coach, but he's not a great recruiter.

Johnson told a very funny story about trying to recruit Troy Aikman. He thought he had him at Oklahoma State, but then Barry Switzer told Troy that he wasn't going to run the Wishbone at Oklahoma and Aikman went there.

What a game on Monday night between the Titans and the Texans. Tennessee kicker Rob Bironas hit a 53-yard field goal with less than a minute left to give the Titans a 20-17 victory. The Texans had a shot to tie, but missed their long field goal attempt as time expired.

Tennessee has won four straight and is still alive in the playoff hunt despite its 0-6 start. Dan will break down the game and discuss the muddled playoff pictures in both conferences.

Here is the rundown of guests for Tuesday:

Matt Schaub: The Texans quarterback is expected to drop by despite Houston's tough loss to the Titans on Monday night.

Jimmy Johnson: The FOX NFL broadcaster will talk about all the big stories around the league and some of the possible coaching openings around the NFL.

Peter King: The SI NFL writer will talk about the aftermath of the Browns-Lions classic from Sunday. We'll find out when Matthew Stafford will return. And King will weigh in on all the rumors about the next coach in Buffalo.
