<body>2012 is still over two years away, but in the words of Chris in Syracuse, the world truly has ended. Days after the death of Michael Jackson, the world was shocked to find news of the passing of Daniel Patrick. The cause of death is unknown, and the town of Bristol, Connecticut is believed to be the workplace of the culprit.

We remember this man not only as a broadcaster, but as a man. Nay, not merely a man, the leader of the Dan Nation. Over 50,000 of you signed up to be a part of Patrick's cult-like following.</body>

<body>We will remember Dan Patrick not for how he died, but for how he lived. As an eloquent and clever speaker, he recreated the typical sports talk show and redefined the ideals of modern media. He has been an inspiration to all men searching for the perfect haircut. Across the country, men are cutting pictures of Dan out of Sports Illustrated magazines and taking them to their local salons in hope of matching the icon's vivacious doo. He lived with an overflowing passion bucket, and died chugging the last few ounces of said bucket. He will be missed but will always be remembered for his ground-breaking interviews involving tough, hard-hitting questions with America's superstars. He, himself, is a star that will never fall.</body>

<body>at the wake:: Dan is gone and lying right here, without a microphone in one hand while drinking a beer. Is a relief to know he will be going upstairs and I like the touch of a glass box in the coffin around his hair. The 'Do not touch' sign next to him is a special touch and his last minute confession that Oblermann was a crutch. Roses are red and violets are blue, Dan never revealed his 'Passion Bucket' tattoo. These is Dan's tragic ending and so it will begin, we are now forced to watch ESPN.</body>

        <body>The King is Dead!

Dan Patrick, sports and dollar beer drinking legend, died today at the tender age of 88. According to his 6th wife, Trixie, Dan enjoyed his final weekend eating a hearty meal of bacon cooked in fatback and sipping on a bottle of Thunderbird wine.

The headline in Mexico was capped with the phrase &amp;quot;Dan Patrick, El Dead-o&amp;quot;.

<body>Dan Patrick died today as he lived. Microphone in one hand and comb in another. Dan had a full and rewarding life telling us about stories of great sports stars. He also would regail us about not so great stars like Dan and his college basketball days. Pauly Pabst will take over his main duties as broadcaster and breast wrangler. In lue of flowers Dan requested money be donated to hair products for underprivleged men.</body>

<body>Here lies Dan, his passion bucket empty, but the hair still in great condition with no split ends. He lived a good life, but ultimately met his end when the 578,897 snarky comment drove Fitzy, Seamon and Paulie to manually empty his passion bucket with a microphone and his Arnold Palmer putter.</body>
