Rating the watchability of Week 10's games while wishing all personality-less domes were at the bottom of this list ...

ONLY IF YOUR OTHER OPTION IS YARDWORK
14. Buffalo (4-4) at Miami (0-8) 1 p.m. -- Anyone else envision Bill Belichick watching this game and cackling?
13. San Francisco (2-6) at Seattle (4-4) M8:30 p.m. -- I think it was Tupac who first told us "the west side is the best side." He obviously didn't have the NFL's most dismal division in mind.
12. Atlanta (2-6) at Carolina (4-4) 1 p.m. -- Anybody heard from Steve Smith lately? Might be worth tuning in to see if this is the game he finally snaps.
11. Cincinnati (2-6) at Baltimore (4-4) 4 p.m. -- We tried to look up something interesting about this game, but our eyes were still bleeding from watching the Ravens' MNF performance.
IT AIN'T GONNA BE EPIC, BUT HEY, IT'S FOOTBALL
10. St. Louis (0-8) at New Orleans (4-4) 1 p.m. -- The Saints are back near last year's form, but we can't shake the feeling a well-rested Rams team starving for a win will make this one interesting.
9. Chicago (3-5) at Oakland (2-6) 4 p.m. -- This story makes this game worth watching.
8. Philadelphia (3-5) at Washington (5-3) 1 p.m. -- If the Redskins want to keep pace with the Cowboys and Giants, this is a must-win against the divided Eagles.
7. Denver (3-5) at Kansas City (4-4) 1 p.m. -- A Broncos win and a Chargers loss in Indy means three teams with losing records would be tied atop the AFC West. Crazy.
6. Detroit (6-2) at Arizona (3-5) 4 p.m. - Proud bible thumpers Jon Kitna and Kurt Warner. On a Sunday afternoon. God will strike you down if you don't watch.
5. Minnesota (3-5) at Green Bay (7-1) 1 p.m. -- Lambeau denizens, save those ticket stubs -- you'll be telling the grandkids about Adrian Peterson's first trip to the frozen tundra.
4. Jacksonville (5-3) at Tennessee (6-2) 1 p.m. -- Friends of ours who grew up in Nashville emailed this week, begging us to Superglue this game -- the prime spot on the 60-inch screen with volume, and not one of the 19-inchers on mute, hung in the balance. It was a tough call -- their Week 2 game came down to the wire -- but any game that may involve Quinn Gray is not must-see TV.
SUPERGLUE YOURSELF TO THE COUCH
3. Indianapolis (7-1) at San Diego (4-4) 8 p.m. - This is the nightcap of the inaugural All-Superglue Sunday 1-4-8 tripleheader. Really, we should get divorce lawyers to sponsor this section. This ain't a bad one to end on. Can the Colts rebound from the disappointment of last week? Can the Chargers jump back into the AFC's elite? We'll know Sunday.
2. Cleveland (5-3) at Pittsburgh (6-2) 1 p.m. -- Sadly, snow is not in the forecast for Heinz Field on Sunday. This is an awesome rivalry that finally has some meaning again, thanks to the Browns resurgence. The NFL should allow Joey Porter to come back to the Steelers for this game, if only to renew his rivalry with Kellen Winslow.
1. Dallas (7-1) at N.Y. Giants (6-2) 4 p.m. -- The Cowboys are at a bit of a disadvantage -- the Giants had an unprecedented three straight off weeks (vs. 49ers, vs. Dolphins, BYE) to prepare. Don't expect a duplication of their Week 1 shootout, a 45-35 win by the Cowboys. Both defenses are much improved (Giants 7th, Cowboys 8th in total defense) and will look to harass two QBs who can sometimes be careless with the ball.
(Apologies all around for skipping last week's rankings. From the emails that came into the inbox, some of you actually missed us. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we'll be here each week until the end of the regular season.)

I would bump the Buffalo game up a notch, if only for the first half to watch Lynch break 150 yards on the ground, and check to see if Losman will self destruct in the face of one of the worst teams in the league.

I can definitely see Buffalo Miami as unwatchable to most, but the Bills can't be horrible, otherwise they wouldnt have moved the New England game to Sunday night.
Granted, that is more becuase of the Patiots than the Bills, but if the Bills weren't a team on the rise, this game ouwldn't have been picked, im guessing.
Go Losman!

Cortland, Oh_god: You can be certain it wasn't the Bills that pushed that game to the bottom of the Yardwork section.
Zmandef: Should be a great game. And if you're a Cowboys fan, you get the added pleasure of listening to Troy Aikman do the call with Joe Buck on FOX.

How bout them Lions

"Proud bible thumpers Jon Kitna and Kurt Warner. On a Sunday afternoon. God will strike you down if you don't watch."
Now, if this isn't a prime example of running down a couple of guys because they have a faith and are proud of it, I don't know what is. Honestly, I'm not "Bible thumper," but can you comment on the game itself without the snide comments? If not, perhaps CNN/SI could find someone with a bit more objectivity to write this column. There was a great article written about Kitna and his faith and how he lives it without rubbing any of his teammates faces in it. He lives his life and they live theirs, but I'd venture to say his attitude, not his religion, is a major factor in the way the clubhouse has come together this year and the Lions are on track to make the playoffs if they continue to play as well as they have the first half of the season.
Next time, stick to the purpose of this column..."rating the watchability of Week 10's games..." without hurling veiled insults at someone because they practice their faith. Geez.

First of all don't think you can just skip a week and act like none of your readers didn't notice it, we are all awaiting an apology . . .
Garrad is supposed to play, but please don't bother moving Tennessee a superglue game until the offense decides it can throw for more than 100 yards.
GB and MN should be up higher, have you not been watching Adrian Peterson or Brett Farve this year, pick it up Dom, you aren't on vacation anymore.

I think it's just a joke Gator, I have faith and I still laughed. You need to calm down and maybe some of Kitna's karma could go to your Gators.

Gator: Just having a little fun at their expense, commenting on the fact that I can't seem to read an article about those guys that's not centered around their faith.
CypxBilly: Perhaps you missed the italicized paragraph at the end of the article where I apologized. Regarding Garrard , put it this way: The Jags are one Fat Albert sack away from Quinn Gray. And tell me, if GB-MIN is moving up, which game is moving down?

Yes I did I assume it was some text about "you are a writer from wherever and your column appears blah blah," nobody reads that stuff at the end, you apologize at the beginning. I think you move MN - GB ahead of Titans and Colts games. A potential td every time he gets a carry(AP) and a potential TD or INT and 4th quarter comeback(Farve), watching Phillip Rivers and VY trying to throw the ball just hasn't been doing it for me lately.

Gator, these guys rub thier religion in all of america's face, no just thier teammates. I'm religious but I have some bible thumpers in my family, the ones that insert the words god or jesus into every inappropriate situation and place themselves on pedistals, if you are a religious person you would know that these things would make them as the Pharisees not just people with strong faith, and you would also know it is not our place to judge them but we should understand the wrong of actions, just not people and Dom wasn't even doing that, he was simply cracking a joke, so calm down.
Dom, love it, found it hilarious, it made my day(especially as a Packers fan that lives in St. Louis and had to hear Warner bible thump all over town when the Rams were succeeding under him), thank you.

GB should still win the game, but it doesn't take away from what Peterson can do. I believe he had 12 carries for 112 yards his last game against you, i'd assume he'll probably get a few more carries this week, he is the most dangerous runner in the league.

All I was gonna say, was I agree with the Superglue games...but Dom, you DID kind of leave out the fact that we Redskins fans would just LOVE to see the football Giants exact revenge on the Cowblows!!
(Hey, the only time[s] we root for the Giants and Eagles is WHEN they play those mutants...)
And, of course, we DO want the Skins to win this Sunday.

Alright, others have already spoken up for the Packers game. I could understand the ranking if the Vikes didn't have AP, but, with him, that team is fun to watch. A guy holds his breath everytime the ball is handed off. When was the last time we saw a guy with this kind of talent?
...and then, Brett Favre...obviously. (I know, I know..."another Packer fan"...) But the Pack is fun to watch all the way around. ...a real "blood n' guts" team.
And, Dom, in answer to your question, I'd bump the Dallas/Giants game. The score will be out of reach before Eli & Co. can say "oh, yeah, now I remember what it's like to play a decent team."

I've been a lions fan for 48 years. I don't care if they are bible thumpers or satan worshippers, they're winning and that's good enough for us Lion fans. Keep up the good work
