As the regular season comes to a close, awards season starts in earnest. And when it comes to national player of the year, two players appear to stand out above the rest: Ohio State's Evan Turner and Kentucky's John Wall.
While Stewart Mandel thinks Turner deserves the honor for his all-around dominance, Andy Staples stumps for Wall and his uncanny ability to single-handedly break down a defense.
The question is, what do you think: Turner or Wall? Or do you have someone else in mind, such as No. 1 Syracuse's star player, Wes Johnson? Is there an overlooked candidate who deserves heavy consideration (Gonzaga's Matt Bouldin, New Mexico's Darington Hobson or BYU's Jimmer Fredette)?
