Cuban turned a laughingstock franchise in Dallas into one of the class acts of the NBA. Even though the Mavericks haven't won an NBA title (although they almost did) they've won a slew of games and playoff series over the last 8+ years. All I know is he turned the woeful Mavs into a winning franchise after purchasing a controlling interest in the team in 2000. And he'd want to win the World Series as bad as any Cubs fan.
