Jerry Jones
Dallas's Jerry Jones: Somebody get this man a microphone.
Donna McWilliam/AP

Since he bought the Cowboys in 1989, Jerry Jones has put on a quite a show in Dallas -- a dysfunctional, yet highly entertaining one. A few years ago, Sports Illustrated honored him as Enemy of the State in three different states. Since then, Jones and/or his crew of misfits have failed to stay out of the headlines. With Jones' latest off-the-cuff remark questioning Marion Barber's toughness, we thought it's only fitting to dig up some of his most dubious gems. Here's our list of the Dallas owner's five most infamous comments...

1. On Adam Jones: "He's literally on a high wire without a net," in reference to the Artist Formerly Known as Pacman. Riiiight. That's why Jones signed the troubled cornerback less than two months later.

2. On Barry Switzer: " ... Any one of 500 coaches could have won those Super Bowls." Jones later denied saying such a thing -- sober. So he qualified it with, yet another, infamous quote: It "was just the whiskey talking."

3. On Troy Aikman: "All I can say right now is that he looks good in the shower," referring to Aikman's slow progression during training camp. Thank you for your insightful analysis, Mr. Jones. We're all officially disturbed.

4. On Felix Jones: "He's got one of those nice bubble butts," in reference to the rookie running back who, apparently, has one heck of an asset. Jerry, stop focusing on your guys' bums.

5. On Marion Barber: "He can play with that injured toe," said Jones, jabbing one of his team's most famously tough players. "He can play with the soreness and a combination of those things. I see nothing that led us to believe he couldn't." Such confidence in his players -- the mark of a great owner.

Which other Jones gems did we overlook? Let us know below...
