Black Monday got off with a bang this morning, with three teams firing their head coaches before noon. The Lions, not surprisingly, axed Rod Marinelli after they completed the NFL's first 0-16 season. The Browns sent Romeo Crennel packing after a 4-12 season that began with high expectations. And the "Can-Gini" chants were heard loud and clear by Jets management, who fired coach Eric Mangini after the Jets went 1-4 down the stretch to miss the playoffs.
