Meet 11-year-old Michelito. Last month in the Mexican city of Merida, the apprentice matador killed six young bulls in a single appearance. The performance set an international record for bull calves slayed in a two-hour bullfight, according Mexico's National Association of Matadors.
But Guinness World Records refuses to recognize the result, saying in last week's official statement, "We do not accept records based on the killing or harming of animals."
Michelito, just 4-foot-5 and 77 pounds, didn't seem too upset about it: "It's all the same to me because in the world of bullfighting the record is now part of history, although it may not be for Guinness."
Should Guinness recognize Michelito's record?
