Are Albert Haynesworth's best days behind him or is the defensive force ready to blow open a window of Super Bowl opportunity in D.C.?

The question is a fair one, says SI.com's Don Banks, as he points to the recent history of Daniel Snyder signings that have drawn headlines during the free-agent frenzy but have failed to pan out on the field. The list of failures includes Deion Sanders, Bruce Smith, Mark Carrier, Adam Archuleta? Dana Stubblefield, Jeremiah Trotter and Jesse Armstead. Given that record, Banks asks:

How many times have we actually seen a Redskins free-agent signee actually go on to play the best football of his career in Washington, as planned? Especially on the defensive side of the ball?

Many of the previous signees played better with their previous teams, but are the Redskins doomed? Will DeAngelo Hall and Haynesworth start a new trend. Weigh in with your thoughts.
