Brooklyn Decker has never slapped anyone before.. This shouldn't come as a major surprise. The four-time SI Swimsuit model is one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and usually has a smile on her face. The real surprise, however, is how good Decker actually is at slapping someone right across the face time after time after time right on cue.
No one knows that better than Zachery Levi, who plays Chuck Bartowski on the NBC show Chuck.
Decker, along with fellow SI Swimsuit models Jarah Mariano and Jessica Gomes recently filmed an episode of Chuck which will be airing tonight (8 p.m. ET) where the girls audition for a job at Buy More (think Best Buy, only greener). The "casting couch" interviews don't exactly go as planned (as evidenced by the clip below) and Chuck ends up paying for the antics of his co-workers, Lester (Vik Sahay) and Jeff (Scott Krinsky).
"I can't imagine she's never slapped anyone before, those were hard," said Levi, still nursing his jaw on a couch after about a dozen crisp slaps by Decker. "I like to do the slaps for real. I mean there's nothing like a real slap but it felt like we did roughly 272 takes. But I guess I can take getting slapped around by Brooklyn Decker. I'm a man."
While reluctant to actually slap anyone at first, Decker not only became comfortable with slapping Levi but also surprised his partner in the scene, Joshua Gomez, who plays Chuck's best friend Morgan Grimes, with a slap as well after being secretly told to do so by the director. The double slap elicited such a surprise reaction from both that it was actually used on the show.
"I'm getting used to slapping so that's probably not setting a good precedent for me but it was fun," said Decker. "They were good troopers about it though. I think they liked it."
