U.S. coach Bob Bradley will select his preliminary 30-man roster on May 11 to begin training May 15 at Princeton. He'll have two weeks to evaluate the players before submitting his final 23-man roster list to FIFA on June 1. Sports Illustrated has already had its say on whom Bradley should choose, but now it's your turn. Should Freddy Adu be on the roster, if not who are your choices?

At 14, Freddy Adu was a world soccer phenom, touted by scouts as the next Pele and America's first genuine superstar in the sport. Six years after making his professional debut in MLS with D.C. United, Adu is a struggling journeyman pro who's played for six teams in six years and has yet to feature regularly for the U.S. national team. He's currently with Aris in Greece, his fourth European team in the last three years and has yet to cement a regular starting spot. Scouts cite his technical skills, but also his lack of tactical knowledge. The question is, will Adu ever live up to his potential and become one of the world's best players, or even the best player in U.S. history? Will he even make the 2010 World Cup roster for the U.S.? Where has it all gone wrong? Join in the debate below.

With U.S. coach Bob Bradley preparing to name his World Cup training camp roster in May, several injured U.S. stars are returning to health just in time.
Midfielder Clint Dempsey is over his knee injury, while defender Oguchi Onyewu is close to returning for club side AC Milan. Who do you think Bradley should call up?
Should he give a chance to red-hot forwards Edson Buddle and Herculez Gomez as Charlie Davies' (pictured, right) potential replacement? Will Davies surprise everyone by recovering from his horrific car-crash injuries? Who should fill the U.S. team's troublesome left-back spot, Jonathan Bornstein or veteran Carlos Bocanegra?

Even before they fell behind 8-0 to the Rays in their Patriots Day affair, the Red Sox were off to their worst start since 1996. At 4-8, Boston entered the week in fourth place in the American League East, 5 games out of first.
"We're not doing a lot of things well right now," Red Sox manager Terry Francona said on Sunday after his team lost its fourth consecutive game.
Inded, the Red Sox' starters have a 4.39 ERA, ranking 10th in the American League. Their offense, once their most reliable weapon, has been slow to get going, having scored just 48 runs in their first 12 games. Two of their most needed bats have yet to wake up; J.D. Drew is hitting just .132 and David Ortiz is at .171, and the pair has just one home run and four RBIs combined.
Perhaps even more alarming has been the defense. After focusing on run prevention in the offseason by adding defensive stalwarts like Mike Cameron in center field, Adrian Beltre at third and Marco Scutaro at shortstop, the Red Sox were expected to be among the best defensive teams in the majors. Instead, they rank third in the AL with nine errors, three of them already by Scutaro.
What is the Red Sox biggest problem right now and what should they do to fix it? Can they recover or will this be their first season since 2006 without a playoff berth or even 1997 without a winning record?
