I'm not going to lie. Dropping the Sports Illustrated brand name with big clubs around the world is a pretty good way to get interviews. There's a reason we've been getting great Q&As with some of the biggest stars in the game, as well as the top Americans in Europe.

In the past two years, the list on SI.com has gone something like this: Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho, Luís Figo, Frank Lampard, Clarence Seedorf, Andriy Shevchenko, John Terry, Hernán Crespo, Diego Forlán, Gabriele Heinze, Guillermo Barros Schelotto, Rodrigo Palacio ...

And then the Americans, like Brian McBride, Clint Dempsey, Tim Howard, Freddy Adu, Claudio Reyna, Brad Friedel, DaMarcus Beasley, Carlos Bocanegra and others.
