The soap opera that is Chelsea just keeps getting worse. On the heels of the Blues' 2-0 loss at Aston Villa last weeked, whispers of José Mourinho's imminent dismissal keep getting louder. Meanwhile, another world power, Inter Milan, is dealing with a host of injuries and still wondering how it got pummeled 5-0 by an even more injury-riddled team -- Barcelona -- in the Joan Gamper Cup.

Those setbacks have sent Chelsea and Inter tumbling off the Sept. 6 edition of the World Power Rankings. Manchester City is off, too -- as if we didn't see that coming. Back on this week are Liverpool, Roma and Manchester United.
