Ahoy, mateys. The coaches poll ballots are coming fast and furious today. Of course, because of the time required to process some records requests, some of the schools are still working on my request for the coaches' preseason ballots. That was the case with the HMS Leach, better known as Texas Tech.
Tuesday morning, a fax rolled in from Lubbock containing the preseason poll of Red Raiders coach Mike Leach. Please bear in mind that this is the preseason poll Leach submitted in early August, so don't go e-mailing Leach about Oklahoma being ranked too high or Cal being ranked too low.
I can't stress this enough. This is Leach's preseason poll. That said, I submit it for your perusal.
