The U.S. Army All-American Bowl selection committee announced its watch list Friday for the 2010 U.S. Army Player of the Year Award. One of these 30 players will join a list that includes Kevin Jones (2001), Adrian Peterson (2004), Jimmy Clausen (2007) and Terrelle Pryor (2008). Of course, the list also includes Ryan Perrilloux (2005) and Mitch Mustain (2006), so it isn't necessarily a predictor of tremendous success in college.
The committee will present the award Jan. 8 in San Antonio. The 10th Army All-American Bowl is Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. on NBC.
