Sure, Georgia Tech president G.P. "Bud" Peterson seemed happy after several hundred students dumped a piece of goalpost on his lawn Saturday after the Yellow Jackets upset Virginia Tech. But now comes word that Peterson wants to review the "safety procedures" at Bobby Dodd Stadium because several fans were injured during the removal of the post. You'd think a bunch of engineers-in-training could figure out a way to fell a goalpost without casualties, but apparently that isn't the case.

At any rate, sources have told SI.com that Peterson plans to severely punish the group that led the goalpost charge to his home. In fact, we've obtained exclusive audio of the double-secret meeting during which Peterson identified the culprits.
