DANA POINT, Calif. -- As was the case with Manny Ramirez, the Dodgers are hoping to keep free-agent shortstop Rafael Furcal with a two-year deal, as well. The Dodgers are offering Furcal a two-year contract for about $25 to 30 million, according to a person familiar with their thinking.
The ever aggressive White Sox are said to be willing to accept trade offers on closer Bobby Jenks, which could spice up the market for relievers. But to acquire Jenks would "take quite a bit,'' said a source familiar with the White Sox's thinking.

I hope the Mets dont bite on Jenks if the Sox sell him so easily.. hes good, not great. I much prefer a deal for someone like Putz or just sign Fuentes or K-Rod. 3 musts for the Mets this offseason = Must get AT LEAST 1 starting pitcher, Must get a new 2nd baseman (O-Dog PLEASE), Must upgrade the bullpen (#1 priority, includes acquiring a closer)

Furcal is a great impact player, when he's not hurt, which he is most of the time. Buyer Beware!
