I would think Texas would still want two of the three original names as they are younger then Ramirez.

This allows the Sox to move Masterson to the starting rotation

Don't even think for a second that Ramirez will take Masterson's place in the trade for Salty. They will have to let go of either Masterson or Lester.

Teahen to the Cubs has got to be a solid rumor now, OF is getting pretty crowded in KC. Still nowhere near as crowded as 1B. Crisp, Aviles, DeJesus top 3 hitters is looking solid.

You are truly out of your **** tree if you think there is any remote possibility of the sox even thinking about sending lester to texas for an unproven yet talented catcher.

Would hate to bump into Bucholz in two or three years down the road...He still is going to be a good one.

Buxholz, bowden, Lester and Masterson in three years and maybe Hadagone will make a nice staff....Who would you let go?

This was a good deal for both teams. KC gets a proven veteran who is a great defensive OF and a very good baserunner. Boston unclogs their OF and gets a solid RP who will improve depth in the bullpen. It will be interesting to see how Theo approaches his hole at catcher now. The Sox have a lot of young arms...

Coco will be missed but this deal had to be done.

They say Bucholz's fastball is hitting 95 mph, curveball back on track and his change up back at 80mph and going for strikes...Nice to hear..

Coco was the best CF Boston had, and his hitting in September and the postseason was critical. Nice to see him get a deserved starting gig.

If Boston didn't eat any salary, this is a huge move to get a solid MR for tiny dollars who is under control through 2012 and free up cash.

Royals can now trade DeJesus to the Cubs. I cannot see the cubbies taking Teahen when DeJesus is also on the block.

Good move. Boston gets an arm and KC gets a leadoff hitter and gold glove. Plus, KC can now move one of their outfielders. Good all around.
