Some coaches want to determine the pitching plan, and expect the catcher and pitcher to execute. Others rely on the pitcher, especially a star like Santana. Others will look to a ctacher to put the plan together and call the game. Does anyone know Warthen's view?? Personally, I think Castro is a viable back up, especially with his bat. I'm not convinced that Schneider calls a great game and takes charge of inexperienced pitchers.
