Trade him, check that trade him YESTERDAY! I wouldn't even ask for a bag of balls for him, I'd take a single baseball. Heck I'll take some pinetar and maybe a rosin bag or two. Just get him as far from KC as possible. I only ask you trade him to an AL team so I can go to the "New-K" and boo him relentlessly!

Guillen could hit, once upon a time. If you look at any statistic more sophisticated than AVG/HR/RsBI, you would quickly see that Guillen was one of the top 5 worst outfielders in baseball last year, and that's without factoring in his terrible defense or his salary.

I'm shocked - Guillen has worn out his welcome? No way.....I'm not buying that one..

Bahahahaahahahahahah......but he is the one laughing all the way to the bank! What were the Royals thinking when they signed him? And they wonder why they have been so bad, for so long

The dude can hit, and he is a righty outfielder. How about Philly? Amaro may not want to go that far out on the limb for his first move as GM, but given Guillen's remaining salary and KC's desire to move him, Philly may be able to get him for not a lot in return. Who knows, maybe the guy is tired of playing for crappy teams? Think about it...a change of scenery to the world champs who play in a bandbox of a stadium. He just might turn out to have a heckuva season if given the chance.

Memo to Theo Epstein, GM of the Boston Red Sox.....This is NOT a guy we want or need and if you are tempted to take a chance on this head case, CEASE AND DESIST IMMEDIATELY. Once again this crumb is having trouble with his manager. How many is it now, five, six, seven? I remember vividly how he tried those creepy tactics of his on Angels manager Mike Scioscia. He was quickly cashiered and has bounced around since then to Washington, Seattle and KC. I don't even remember where he was before his sojourn with the Angels, but I know it was with at least two other teams. KC, he is all yours. No team with a brain would want this bum.

The Royals are quietly shopping righthanded-hitting outfielder Jose Guillen, a terrific talent who seems to have the knack for wearing out his welcome pretty quickly. Guilen is said to be at odds with Royals manager Trey Hillman, who just completed his first year at the helm in Kansas City.

Guillen can hit -- 20 home runs, 97 RBIs and a .264 batting average last year -- but the problem is his $12 million salary and two years remaining on his contract.
