Surprise, Surprise... posted on the 21st of Nov and not (1) comment. I am sure GA will have just as many offers. I am sure the Blue Jays or A's need a washed up old DH...haha

Longtime Angels outfielder Garret Anderson recently hired agent Scott Boras, according to league sources. The Angels declined Anderson's $14 million option for 2009 and bought out his contract for $3 million. Anderson had been one of only a few players without an agent (Curt Schilling is another).

Anderson, who has played his entire 15-year career in Anaheim, is testing the market for the first time. The Angels haven't ruled out a return for G.A., who hit .293 with 15 home runs and 84 RBIs last season and has hit between .280 and .321 in every season with the Angels -- he's a career .296 hitter -- but they're currently focused on free-agent slugger Mark Teixeira, another Boras client.

As for Boras, he could be the busiest agent this offseason. Besides Anderson and Teixeira, his other clients who are free agents include Willie Bloomquist, Alex Cora, Joe Crede, Felipe Lopez, Derek Lowe, Greg Maddux (who is likely to retire), Corey Patterson, Oliver Perez, Manny Ramirez, Ivan Rodriguez, Julian Tavarez, Jason Varitek, Ron Villone and Brad Wilkerson.
