Dodgers are making all the WRONG moves this winter and you can add this one to the list. As a lifelong Dodger fan I can already see the handwriting on the wall for this season. Injuries or not Raffy has been the sparkplug of this team since he arrived from Atlanta and having this team in this market not pay these free agents on our roster to stay and continue to build on our obvious great chemistry that emerged last season with our division title is a slap in our face by the greedy owners of this the greatest franchise in baseball. Shame on you for taking us the fans for granted and not getting the job done this offseason and alowing these key players to our success walk. You wont see my dollars to walk into the ravine this year and watch a bunch of 2nd tier free agents butcher up the game while you pocket your millions. Boom outta here.

fookie just signed with the still lowly bravos 3yr-30 milw/4th yr vesting option to possibly make deal @40 mil total. i say lowly because last 3 yrs have been barf city for any braves fan especially if you like to be competitive.without a strong #1 starter '09 has a better chance to end up as the aforementioned era. we need a greinke or oswalt type to ramp up fans expectations again because 2 dogs(jj&jv)& fries(reyes&morton)will not assure us of 3rd place in'09!philly has gained clout with recent acquisition of ibanez&moyer to their already stout lineup of '08.mets have hit a HR w/K-ROD&PUTZ @back end of pen...i don't see anymore regularity of choking in the 8th or 9th now minaya has proven tough w/back against wall!so,where can atlanta gain w/o strong rotation in 'o9......brightest outlook is 3rd w/ cellar a strong possibility if wren doesn't use furcal as stepping stone to an ACE&power bat in OF!!!
