<body>The Marlins have been know to make a deal when they feel that they could win now. They've done it many times in the past, they almost traded for Manny last year. So it's not impossible.

I've heard rumors that they already had discussions with the Blue Jays about Halladay.</body>

<body>No way the fish trade Uggla right now.

If they get Gonzo and Bell it will most likely be for prospects and some pretty good ones at that. I could then see Bonifacio moving into the role that was formerly played by Amezaga.

Gonzo would be a great addition as he is relatively cheap through 2011 which would clearly appeal to us. He would also help his own and Hanley's cause as they would now have protection in the lineup.</body>

<body>No way would I trade for Bell. Nunez is getting the job done right now, and Meyer and Calero are waiting in the wings. Can't trust Lindstrom due to his failures before his injury, but that's not to say he can't develop into a quality closer...he does throw awfully hard. And giving up West or Miller? Absolutely not. If anything, the Fish should package one of them with either Hermida, Ross or Uggla and get an above average bat who hits with consistency.</body>
