Game: Kentucky vs. Marquette

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Not surprisingly, there is a large contingent of Kentucky fans here in Anaheim as the Honda Center has turned into Rupp Arena West with most of the crowd decked out in blue. I have yet to spot the most famous Wildcat of them all, however, as Ashley Judd is nowhere to be found. I’ve been walking up and down the sections of the arena trying to locate her, to no avail. Maybe these ‘Cats aren’t up to her standards or maybe she’s hiding from me, who knows.
In the meantime, most of the Kentucky fans did something distinctly Californian at halftime, enjoying some fish tacos from the Rubio’s stand located in the arena. I tried to take my tacos to my seat but ran into the same restrictions as some of my colleagues have with their sunflower seeds. If an NCAA logo isn’t plastered to it, it isn’t allowed on press row apparently. I’m surprised they haven’t slapped a NCAA logo on my forehead yet.
Tommy Brice Update: Our favorite Marquette guard is now filling up water bottles and NCAA emblazoned cups near the bench. I know he’s not going to play, but he’s on the roster and wearing a uniform, don’t they have student managers or something for this kind of stuff?
