Adam "Pacman" Jones has not spoken publicly since NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended the Cowboys cornerback indefinitely Tuesday afternoon. As it turns out, Jones has not been heard from at all. From ProFootballTalk.com:

A league source tells us that no one from the Cowboys organization has been able to get in touch with Pacman.

There could be various legitimate explanations for the phenomenon.  Still, at this point, no one with the team knows where he is or what he’s up to.

Jones has been suspended indefinitely, and for a minimum of four games.  It’s unclear whether he’ll be welcomed back to the Cowboys if/when he is reinstated.

Can SI PLEASE find some decent blog writers? A cut and paste from another web site preceded by a sentence or two is not a blog. Hell, you'll find better than this in the comments section of throwdowns!

As for the content, Jones agent HAS been heard from and I'm sure has been in contact with the team as well. The man is SUSPENDED, that means no-contact with the team is allowed. He's not allowed to show up at the team facility nor is he allowed to contact team personnel. Why would this come as a surprise to anyone?

Pacman Jones is obviously a troubled person as well as a criminal. The Cowboys could care less as long as he runs back punts for touchdowns. I do not see why anyone is surprised at anything at all that occurs in this Soap Opera. With that said, I was suspended once at a job, and I immediately left on a one week vacation. The idiot who suspended me changed his mind after one day and realized his mistake and then panicked because he could not find me. Yet, all I did was go home like he told me too. Pacman is a thug but in this case he has a perfect right to be suspended on a beach.

Because I'd never wish ill on anyone, I hope wherever he is, he's okay and hopefully staying out of trouble.

That being said, as long as the proper authorities have been notified, I don't see the big deal. Move on, get ready for Sunday @ St. Louis.

Who Cares

Dallas & Atlanta area strippers care, that's who. They've got families to feed, you know.

Well, if I disappear, and my boss can't find me, I'm probably fired. Anyone want to give odds on PacMan still being a Cowboy?

October 16, 2008  09:29 AM ET

maybe the SOB finally got what he deserved from the bodyguard he pushed around.

(but guys, ya gotta remember this is T&R)

October 16, 2008  09:30 AM ET

He probably still getting tips from Maurice Clarett, looser!

October 16, 2008  09:54 AM ET

Thank God he is not with the Titans any more and at least they got a draft pick from Dallas. I think Pacman has what you call "little man syndrome"

Hey, user Cowboys-Celtics-etc. makes a good point: He is barred by league rules from speaking to the team. This news story simply says that...(drum roll)...he hasn't spoken to the team. DA-HURRRR!!!

Perhaps the news is that Pacman is following a rule? heh...

October 16, 2008  10:20 AM ET

If I see Pacman driving a white Ford Bronco with AC by his side I am going to loose my freakin lunch! Then I will have a seat on the couch with my Beer and finally say I have watched reality TV.

October 16, 2008  10:35 AM ET

He is presently located in San Antonio on the Riverwalk having a beer. His entourage is getting set to go out. Pacman will get the girls together, Maurice Clarrett says he'll take care of the money and Travis Henry said he will bring the soda (if I remember he said Coke). So they'll be busy for a little while.
