12 This is the same "stand up citizen" who hit a woman with his car, and then fled the scene. He pleaed guilty to lesser penalties, yet was never suspended by the league. I used to think Goodell was good for the league but his inconcistencies are a joke. He suspends Pacman (which I agreed with) for a year for just having been investigated by the police, never found guilty of anything, yet someone hits another human with a car and gets NOTHING? Then this same person is accused of felony gun charges, and receives a "3-game slap on the wrist"? Hmmmm? 4997727

11 I think Goodell took it easier on Lynch because of the mitigating circumstances of his case. The gun was found in a backpack in the trunk of the car, a backpack which has never factually been linked to Lynch. He was charged with the crime, yes, but there's still a chance he can beat the charges altogether. 3 games seems to be a very fitting punishment, to me, for just plain being in the wrong place at the wrong time. 4996709

3 I think it would be great for a highly paid sportsman who has done the wrong thing to acknowledge it and VOLUNTARILY take himself out for a couple of games. Let's face it - he broke the law, it was his choice, face up to the consequences. It's what we tell our kids, isn't it? 4994185
