One-time Super Bowl starting quarterback Rex Grossman, who's currently unemployed, may be on the verge of signing with a new team. From agent Drew Rosenhaus' Twitter feed:
Rex Grossman will be visiting the Houston Texans tonight. He will be taking a physcial (sic) and we anticipate agreeing to terms on a 1 year deal.
The move would make sense for the Texans, who traded backup (and occasional starter) Sage Rosenfels to Minnesota in the offseason. Matt Schaub is currently the starter in Houston, with ex-Lion Dan Orlovsky as the No. 2 for now.
