According to a Napa, Calif. police report, Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable allegedly had a physical altercation with defensive assistant Randy Hanson during a staff meeting on Aug. 5, as reported by various media sources.

California police can neither confirm nor deny Hanson as the injured party, but it's been reported that he had X-rays on his jaw after the encounter with Cable.

According to police, misdemeanor assault charges could arise against Cable -- if the victim comes forward with information that leads to an investigation. A broken jaw could merit felony charges, as well.

The Raiders have classified the alleged incident as an "internal matter" and refused further comment.
</intro>

I'm just quoting the game recap from NFL.com:

Romo completed four passes to four receivers before leaving with a 7-3 lead that Dallas' reserves couldn't hold.

Romo played just two drives, going three-and-out on the first after former teammate Greg Ellis batted down his first pass of the game, and throwing the touchdown pass to Witten on the second. Romo and the Dallas offense looked sharp on the second drive as he completed all four of his passes and the Cowboys effectively mixed in the run.

As much as you would like to dream about what you THINK you saw on TV, your 1st's didn't put it to our 1st's. You started winning after Romo left. I will admit that your 2nd's and 3rd's looked good, Gradkowski looked even better than your starter. As I stated earlier, this is the PRESEASON, it means nothing. It meant nothing for the Cowboys, nothing for the Raiders. It was just a chance to get timing and chemistry down against an opposing team. I'll even go as far to say that the Raiders might POSSIBLY beat my Cowboys on Thanksgiving, the 'BOYS have a stupid way of losing to bad teams. The fact still remains is that it won't matter, the Raiders will still be watching the postseason from their million dollar coaches, IF and only if they don't all go to jail first.

Can't wait. Live here in Dallas, and even the Raiders shouldn't have a problem with this version of the Cow Chips. They're as fat and soft as their coach, who I think moonlights as the Pillsbury Doughboy. They also get intimidated easily, kind of like Landry's teams did when they played the Steelers.
