Donovan McNabb's status for Week 2 is uncertain after the Eagles quarterback cracked a rib in Sunday's win over the Panthers. With Michael Vick suspended until Week 3, and Kevin Kolb looking shaky in relief Sunday, the Eagles needed some QB insurance for Week 2 against New Orleans. They found some, in a familiar face. From ESPN.com:
The Eagles reached agreement with quarterback Jeff Garcia, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday. Garcia, a 10-year veteran, played for Philadelphia in 2006 and went 5-1 in six starts in relief of an injured McNabb.
