<body>Peter you are an absolute disgrace to have printed that rant about Kaeding, that belongs in some super market tabloid and not on your blog. He is one of the best kickers in the league and has plenty of time to get over any perceived choke thus far in his career. I would love to see how some of the other so called greats have performed early in their careers. You stooped to a level I never would have expected from a man of your level and for that, you will going forward always be known as a cheap pathetic piece of garbage...</body>

<body>How is it that NCAA division III can have a play off but division 1, I mean bowl championchip division cannot, becasue of academics? What about basketball players at the same level? It's all about money so they need to quit bringing academics into the argument.
As a died hard steeler fan the QB run on 3rd was dumb. dance with what brung you call for the short pass and if it's not there Ben can run. Any way if the ref's had called holding Gerard's run comes back anyway.</body>

<body>I came across this funny Patriots video this morning... that I thoguht anyone who reads Peter will LOVE. A Boston TV reporter did a spoof on those beer commercials that use NFL Coach press conferences... using Mr. Comedy himself, Coach Bill Belichick... it's pretty funny and I thought I'd share it. Here's a link:

        <body>You're not sure &amp;quot;long term&amp;quot; if Randy Moss is 9 or 99?
Isnt that true of every player in the league...your beloved Brett has been up and down more times than an elevator in his career. Next year Bob Sanders might get repeatedly burned etc etc...you just for some reason have to put a negative spin on anything Patriot related.

You're such a p*ssy you are going to pick the Pats but want the world to know that you think the Jaguars can win the game.,,,you cant have it both ways
Just pick the Jags write about how big and bad and tough they are and about how the Patriots need to respect and worry about them.

Even in you power rankings you have to mention how the Patriots are going to be bruised after the game...The Jags I guess will be just fine. I mean what do they have to be concerned with a bunch of old slow LB's

take all the faint praise you begrudgingly give the Pats and shove it. I have never seen such a prominent national sports writer be as biased as you are when it comes to the Patriots.

When they go 19-0 Im sure you will mention The Colts injuries, Video Taping and about now we will see if Randy Moss stays a model citizen. For a Football writer who claims to love the game so much. You have just watched the most historic season ANY team has ever had in the history of the NFL. And cant go 3 lines without throwing some snide remark out about them.

too bad.</body>

<body>Art Monk does not belong in the Hall of Fame. At no time during his very solid career was he ever considered one of the best at his position. He was never &amp;quot;feared&amp;quot;, nor did he ever dazzle. He was simply efficient and efficiency is not Hall of Fame ... where the Greats go.

&amp;quot;his 3 Super Bowls were more a testament to a great Offensive Line rather than any brilliance on his part&amp;quot; might be the single dumbest thing I've ever heard a fan write or say. Wow.

Followed up you would bring in June Jones? June Jones??? Hoo boy.

Ehazard, Bobby Petrino walked out of his contract with three games to go in the season a day after telling his owner he was staying, to go coach another team. You can't compare that with Gibbs, leaving football at sixty-seven after turning a hard, hard season around to make the playoffs. Compare the players reactions to Petrino leaving, to the players reaction to Gibbs leaving and it tells you all you need to know.

If the Trai Essex doesn't blow his block and Roethlisberger makes the first, it's a brilliant call. Dude missed and now Tomlin and Bruce Arians are idiots. It's easier to be the fan that's for sure.

I'm with everyone here: I do not like the re-seeding idea as put forth by Don King. Techstar's idea makes more sense to me.</body>

<body>Regarding re-seeding the playoffs.. .They can keep the AFC and NFC separate but at least seed the teams by regular season record. That way, a team like the Bucs, who locked up their weak division early, would still have something to play for throughout the stretch. If the regular season record mattered more, teams might not be resting their starters because they would be jostling for home field advantage. This would make the tickets holders happy because week 15 and 16 wouldn't be just glorified pre-season games. Not to mention if Gruden had actually played his starters, the Bucs might have not been so rusty against the G-men. Is there any doubt that if Gruden played his starters that the Bucs would have won those last two games?</body>

        <body>Hi Peter

1. Hard to say, strain, age, family. He's a good, stand up guy. I wish him well.

2. Even though I would love him as the Raider DC (it would never happen anyway) I would love to see Singletary coach Wshington. I think he could do wonders with their D.

3. Were the Pats guilty of DPI at the end of the Baltimore game? It's the way it goes, I say. I'm a Raider fan, from the &amp;quot;emaculate&amp;quot; reception to the tuck game, I got no sympathy for teams getting no calls against them.

4. Don't, don't remeber that play.

5. What? And cut the Jags out of it? The only pleasure I, as a Raider fan take out SD winning, is that I think JAX will beat the Pats.

What was up with that comment you made RE: Lane Kiffin at the end of the game Sunday? Hunch? Your reading of the proverbial tea-leaves? Inside info?

Thanks</body>
