        <body>How come no one is mentioning his championing of Mangini (henceforth Rat-boy) as one of the great young coaches who brought great new ideas to the league and their teams?

I mean...if 4-12...with 2 of those wins being against the 1-15 Dolphins is the mark of a good coach with great new fresh ideas...I guess it really changes the way I look at guys like Belichick, who's won half the superbowls in the last 7 years and taken a team to 16-0.

Not to praise BB that much (although he's deserving), merely to point out that Peter King praising a coach who took a fairly talented team to 4-12...it diminishes what every decent coach (Romeo Crennel, anyone?) has accomplished.

In short: it becomes more and more obvious that Peter King is a biased fool who's lost whatever touch he ever had on the pulse of actual football.</body>

        <body>I doubt you read these but I have to comment on what I heard you talk about on ESPN radio this moring.

Do you honestly believe that Randy Moss disrespected Jerry Rice with his comments after the Giants game?...you have got to be kidding me
to take the opportunity to slam Moss for 5 mins going so far as bringing up &amp;quot;annonymous&amp;quot; HOF voters who would never vote for him. was bush league at best. Its too bad you have slid so far this year you realize you are wrong more often than you are right in your predictions, observations, and general reporting.

Moss saying the record wasnt important to him was a knock on Jerry Rice?

Moss has stated all year that he wasnt concerned with individual records, time and time again. All he cared about was showing the world he still was the reciever he always was and keeping the 0 in the right hand column.

Jerry Rice with his comments showed himself to be whiney self important jerk. Talk about someone that hung around to long and wore out his welcome. Too bad I thought Jerry Rice was a classier guy.

I wouldnt expect anything less from you though taking a chance to slam someone that isnt one of you &amp;quot;favorites&amp;quot;
 you have proven your self to be an extremely biased journalist this year.</body>

        <body>I can usually tolerate King's self-serving name dropping, but when he tried to show how cool he is because he talks movies with Tom Brady, he pretty much gave away the ending to No Country For Old Men. Pathetic.

Also, he attacks Cincy for throwing too much to TJ, but the Colts escaped criticism for throwing to Wayne on every down until he reached his milestone. Apparently, Dungy is beyond criticism.</body>

        <body>Question and thoughts on college bowls: Why do the networks fail to show multiple replays of plays? They seem to think that viewers would rather listen to the announcers tell them what happened, poorly I might add, as opposed to showing us the replays. Maybe they need to get to the commercials or they think we might see something that the officials didn't see so we can question a call. I don't know, but I've noticed on a number of occasions the announcers telling us something that was totally inaccurate.

In a nutshell I think the networks are doing a horrible job of broadcasting this bowl season.</body>

        <body>Um how about Devin Hester as PR/KR? There's a reason that they coined the phrase &amp;quot;Don't F***ing Kick it to Devin Hester.&amp;quot; Oh and he just set the record for returns for TD's in a season. And whose record did he break? His own from last year.</body>

        <body>Here's a random question. I just read that Westbrook is one of only six players to ever lead their team in rushing and receiving for three straight seasons...but the term &amp;quot;leading receiver&amp;quot; is based on receptions, not yardage. He's third on the team in yardage. This is just one example of receptions being the receiving category of choice as opposed to yardage. This isn't the case in rushing or passing, and really, who cares about receptions? Is there any justification for why the number of receptions is considered more significant than receiving yards?</body>

        <body>Peter I think you left one very important name off your list of 12 that being Tom Coughlin. While I agree that he showed a lot of guts for playing his starters and giving New England a game instead of resting guys and letting the Pats have a gimmie for that 16-0 mark the loss of 3 starters most notably center Shaun O'Hara will cost them in the playoffs and may well cost Coughlin his job. But no worries because if he does in fact get the axe my money is on him landing in Miami with his mentor and good friend Bill Parcells. Cou8ghlin is just the type of coach the Fins need going forward and just the guy Parcells is looking for to toughen up a team that has clearly lost it edge following the Nick Saban debacle. Miami will wait to see if Coughlin is available before making it's decision on Cam Cameron you heard it here first.</body>

        <body>Peter I think you left off one very important Caoch from your list of twelve why not make it a bakers dozen and add Tom Coughlin? While everyone has applauded him for having the stones to go for broke against the Pats by playing his starters he lost 3 very important players that may or may not be available for the playoffs. If at the very least Shaun O'Hara doesn't play this week and the Giants loss Coughlin will be the next Caoch seraching for a job. If he does get axed my money is on him landing in Miami with his mentor and longtime friend Bill parcells. Coughlin is just the type of displinarian Parcells is looking for to toughen up the Dolphins.</body>
