2007 Records: Eagles 8-8, Cowboys 13-3
Michael Lombardi's 2008 Evaluations according to SI Mag
QB Phi B, Dal A
RB Phi B, Dal B+
WR Phi C Dal B
TE Phi B, Dal A
OL Phi B, Dal A
DL Phi B, Dal B+
LB Phi B-, Dal B
DB Phi A, Dal C+

Yet Lombardi ranks the Eagles 1 in the NFC East above the Cowboys and Dr. Z predicts the Eagles to make it to the SB and lose to the Patriots by only 3 points? Wow. Wow.

Picking the Seahawks? Tom Brady as MVP? To much Patriots. All you guys do is write about AFC North, blah blah blah. Tom Brady no snaps. Payton Manning no snaps. Oh but those Seahawks Eagles, wonderful teams last year. And how about Romo, he can't win a playoff game to save his life.

But seriously, who can see the Pats going past AFC Divisional?

If the Steelers win more than 11 games this year, with how hard their schedule is, Steelers all the way baby... Steelers vs Saints in the Super Bowl, Steelers 21, Saints 17

what is it with peter king and certain franchises/personalities? i realize he has a permanent reservation in brett favre's sphincter, but what's up with the vikings love thing. did he not notice that the vikings have no quarterback? is it something about tavaris jackson's thighs that have peter swooning so? every year these guys have some weird proclivity to pick the vikings - you think they'd learn.

Yeah totally huge leap for the seahawks to be champs and Hasselbeck to be MVP. I mean, it's not like the Seahawks are the only NFC team to reach the playoffs for each of the past 5 years and the only team other than the Pats to go to and win at least 1 postseason game in each of the past 3 years. It's also not like Hasselbeck has had a 4000 yard season with a completely depleted receiving corps.

Wes Welker MVP? Unless someone other than Brady is throwing the ball he has no shot. Brady gets all the credit/awards for that team. I don't understand the lack of McFadden votes for rookie of the year. If the team is better it'll be because of him and if the team stinks they'll have nothing to lose and he'll get tons of stats.

I think Dr. Z is an idiot. I think King is great but I think Jeff Fisher is a pretty lousy coach. Defensively he's great but he's just like Del Rio. They keep doing the same failing style of offense with the same type of QB's and receivers and they're just spinning their wheels. Coahes like that can make it to the playoffs but when they face higher caliber offenses they always fail because no matter how strong their defense is they're offense can keep up. Their defense brings a #1 offense down to the level of a #7 or #8 offense which is still better than their #16 or #28! Ray Lewis is still getting it done. Chicago and Balti's defenses are getting old. They need to rebuild but neither have an offense so i think they'll get him to hang around one more year if not two!

The picks are in.

SI.com rounded up nine of its NFL writers and had them predict everything from division winners, individual awards, coaches and players who won't be back in 2009 and much more. The results are here.

Do you agree with Dr. Z that the Eagles will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl? Do you think Peter King's choice of Jack Del Rio as Coach of the Year has merit? Is Don Banks crazy for saying this will be Ray Lewis' last NFL season? Let 'em know in the comments below.
