Is Tom Brady the best player ever to wear No. 12. What about the No. 32? Who would you choose between Jim Brown, Julius Erving, Sandy Koufax, Magic Johnson, Karl Malone and Shaquille O'Neal? (We took Magic over Brown.)
Here are our picks for the best players to wear each number -- 00-31, 32-67 and 68-99. Now it's your turn. Give your thoughts.

#33 Should be Sammy Baugh. He was not only a great quarterback and member of the FIRST NFL HOF class, he also was a great punter and drop kicker. Have you ever tried to do a drop kick?

#32 is a tough call. but jim brown was both the greatest nfl running back ever AND the greatest lacrosse player ever (revolutionizing the game) until
#22 gary gait, the only other argument for greatest lacrosse player ever (and still a force in professional lacrosse in his 40s.)

Congrats to SI for a great article that was well researched.
Biggest mistake: #45 - Pedro Martinez over Bob Gibson (not even close)
2nd place: #87 - Dwight Clark over Sidney Crosby (was Dwight Clark ever the face of the NFL?)
Toughest calls: #32, 33, 74, 75 - I saw most of the nominees play and understand why SI picked the ones they did, and I don't have a real problem with the winners, but my choices would have been Jim Brown (32), Kareem (33), Bob Lilly (7), and Joe Greene (75).
