        <body>I don't think any of these guys could or should make it. Cheating is cheating. You shouldn't be rewarded for it. There are plenty of players from this era that can make or will at least be heavily considered for the Hall of Fame that didn't inject themselves to get there. Greg Maddox, Randy Johnson, Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Mo Rivera, Pedro Martinez, Trevor Hoffman, Frank Thomas, Ichiro, and Ken Griffey Jr all come to mind as clean players that should get serious consideration, and there is still a backlog of players like Andre Dawson that should make it. Why should we reward players that took illegal substances over those with similar numbers that didn't?</body>

        <body>&amp;quot;Mark McGwire was the first case, and I come down in the majority by not voting for McGwire. My reasoning on McGwire is based on those two questions and two beliefs.  I believe he took steroids (while the proof isn't absolute, there is no other reasonable explanation for him refusing &amp;quot;to talk about the past.'')&amp;quot;

I suggest you talk to an attorney and review the law(s) covering defamation.

&amp;quot;I also believe that his steroid usage...&amp;quot;

And here you are saying the exact opposite of what you said earlier.

&amp;quot;...just plain dumb...&amp;quot;

Finally something you say that I can agree.</body>

        <body>Simple solution: Just add a steroid wing to the HoF. People can visit or skip that part of the tour based on their personal beliefs. If you feel these players don't belong, just don't go in the ROID room. Perhaps if that room doesn't draw enough visitors, the HoF will close it down thus eliminating the &amp;quot;alleged&amp;quot; cheaters by monetary necessity/popular demand.</body>

        <body>Bonds a definite yes. All around great player before any of this. Got his team to game 7 of the W.S. w/his bat. In the 400/400 club by himself in 1996.

A-Rod -- every team he plays on gets worse when he arrives. Despite his stats winning is a measure of how you play the game. Horrible in the clutch. No at this point. He needs to win and play ball in the post season for a yes.

As for the others I agree with John. McGwire is border line. Remember he hit 49 home runs as a rookie. Led his team to several W.S. appearances before steroids. So he was somewhat legit.</body>

        <body>None of them deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. They all cheated, they all broke the rules, they all belong on the outside looking in.

If you use the argument that some of them had Hall of Fame credentials before they starting using banned and illegal drugs, then Pete Rose would be in the Hall of Fame because he had the necessary credentials {presumabily} before he started gambling.

The first criteria is very simple; you cheat, you don't get in.</body>

        <body>No Sammy Sosa? Why? Although he's probably dirty, he was never caught. He still denies using steroids, and there has been no public accusations against him (other than Jose Canseco's belief that Sosa is dirty). In America, the accused is suppose to be given the benefit of the doubt. So, until there is indesputable evidence of cheating, Sammy Sosa should be a Hall of Famer.</body>

        <body>None of these losers should get in. What kind of message does that send to kids. &amp;quot;It's OK to do drugs as long as you don't get caught until after you have broken some records.&amp;quot; If baseball wants my dollar back they should ban all of these players for life. How hypocritical is it for them to ban Pete Rose for Gambling and allow these cheaters a pass? Ban them and bring back some dignity to the sport.</body>
