<body>Oh yes how tragic. Another athlete or entertainer killed. I think what is even sadder is that just because he was a successful african american athlete, african americans are looking at this guy as a hero. Go figure, the man drives drunk, he illegally carries a handgun, and he commits adultery. Sounds like the majority of african american men in the U.S. I suppose if that is the criteria to become an african american hero, then Adam Jones is considered a God within the african american community.</body>

<body>Dude what does Vick or Adam jones have to do with anything. Here's a thought why dont you stop classifying people and stop assuming that all African Americans value convicts as heroes. Ignorance is bliss my friend, Ill give you an example of Mcnairs decency, After Katrina hit Mcnair, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Brett Favre all got together and started providing emergency supplies, money from thier own pockets, while YOUR former governer sat around and watched people die. Like the saying goes &amp;quot;only two things come out of texas&amp;quot; I think you are the Less of the two. (No disrespect to Texans, im trying to make a point)</body>

As a ravens fan Steve Mcnair will be missed, in my opinion he is an all time great the guy might not have the records but he played hard and won. remember he was only one yard from a title.</body>

<body>great man?? He was a slightly better than average football player who gave Titan's fans some excitement and optimism. He was, also, a married man with four children and a 20 year old girlfriend. Which one of those things makes him a great man?</body>

<body>Figures a drunk, gun toting, cheating african american athlete would be a hero to another african american. I guess Adam Jones is a hero as well as Michael Vick. Michael Irvin used to be until he cleaned up his act, now he is just another retired athlete.</body>

        <body>Shocker...
Let me guess... she wanted him to leave his wife. Or he refused some &amp;quot;shut up&amp;quot; payment about their little fling.
Great ball player... douch off the feild like so many apparently.
And before you get on your high horse Deltadoz21, tell me ONE good scenario where a married man would be with a 20 yr old in a rented condo early am and something douchey is not going on. And no, I'm not perfect, and yes I have a wife, and no I'd never, and never have done anything like this. I, unlike mr. McNair, respect people in my life.

And quit bringing relgion into this issue..if your beliefs had ANY relevance in a modern (ie real) world, this sort of cr@p wouldn't be happening.

I feel for his wife and kids who had a husband/father who didn't care enough about them to not disrespect them this way by risking his reputation and their lively hood by sticking it to a 20 year old.

Two words: Situational Management. If he managed his situation better, he'd not have several bullet holes in his body. This is not some tragic thing that he had no control over, let's not forget that!</body>

<body>For those of you who aren't in MS or can get the news in MS, an interview with Steve McNair's brother confirmed that the Nashville Police Department has contacted them and officially stated that it was indeed a murder-suicide. Ms. Kazemi shot him four times and then took her own life.</body>
