Precisely! If you put your cars up on blocks in the front yard, well, you already have the appliances out on the front porch, and the overall effect tends to be a bit too "busy". Having the appliances on the front porch, and the cars around back strikes a much better balance and allows for a much more natural "flow". (And people say us southerners are not sophisticated!)
