Wisconsin (7-5) vs. Florida State (8-4)
Dec. 27, 4:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
Reason To Watch: To see if a disappointing year for Wisconsin gets even more disappointing. The Badgers entered the season at No. 13 and a consensus No. 2 pick in the Big Ten. By the end of the season, the Badgers needed three missed extra points by FCS-team Cal Poly to win in overtime and avoid finishing .500.
Keep An Eye On: P.J. Hill. Wisconsin's bruising back will be facing a run defense that held everyone in check except for Florida and Georgia Tech. Hill, who has gotten plenty of help this year from freshman John Clay, has five 100-yard games and 13 touchdowns. He ran for 132 yards on just 16 carries in Wisconsin's loss to Tennessee in the Outback Bowl last year.
Did You Know?: Florida State is 8-0 this season when running back Antone Smith scores a touchdown, 0-4 when he does not.
Final Analysis: Florida State lost to Georgia Tech on a fumble in the final minute and to Boston College when five wide receivers were suspended. The 'Noles finished one win short of the ACC title game and still managed an 8-4 mark. Should FSU be able to hold the Wisconsin running game in check and hold on to the football (FSU's 26 turnovers was the 22nd-highest total in the nation), Bobby Bowden will be able to take his first nine-win season since 2004 into his 33rd offseason at FSU.
The Pick: Florida State 24, Wisconsin 13. Florida State is better than its record indicates, and Wisconsin has been uninspiring since its narrow losses to Michigan and Ohio State. Smith wins the battle of the running backs and the Badgers finish with their most losses since 2003.
