There were some seriously obnoxious OSU fans sitting behind my wife and I at the game. They were soooo arrogant after the Bucks got their field goal on the first drive. I was so pleased when they sulked away with 12 minutes left in the 4th QTR. That said, I hope Tressel gets his big game mojo back, soon. I like and respect him as a coach and he once was revered for having banished John Cooper's litany of big game failures.

Pryor for President, or VP, I dont like the buckeyes or the Big 10, for I am a Florida fan, and yes we will be playing USC in the National Championship, but this guy Pryor is going to win a NC with the buckeyes, all that if Tressel changes thier stupid &quot;run it between the tackles&quot; philosophy, and letthis kid run the spread.

Usc just looked like the old NC team of 2004, I dont think that they are there yet, but this tema is really special. With Sanchez, McKnight, Williams, Maualaga, Cushing, Mays,and the other safety and another line backer(from Hawaii), this team is star studded. If Pete Carrol, and his coaching staff can just harness his teams skills, this team can be one of those USC teams that goes out there in the Pac-10 and win games by a margin of 35+. Good Win USC, buckeyes go home and start Terell Pryor.

Wow Boz Scaggs you're really one to talk about insecurities. Everything you wrote just reeks of pouty loser talk. Mark Sanchez Patronized you? Are you kidding me? You play the game to win, and you don't stop until you do. Winning 43-0 is running up the score, having your supposed heisman caliber running back still in when you're up by 25+ is running up the score. If you actually watched the game you would have seen USC's 4th and 5th string running backs, 2nd string quarterback, and the practice squad defense in the game well before it ended.
Don't talk to me about the value of a human being while using a football game as your evidence, you will need some thing much more empirical before I stop to listen to you. It's a game, they work hard and they play hard and not every angle of it is pretty. That being said I would never judge a players value as a human based on a football game. Not Brian Cushing, not Carroll Jr., not Jim Tressel. If these players can leave the game on the field and go about their lives, then maybe you should consider doing the same thing. It's not a religion, its not a standard of life, it's a game and somewhere you lost sight of that. As far as I know, all these guys playing are great people both on OSU and USC and every other team. To try and bash them as humans is just ridiculous. In the eloquent words of Trojan_D, &quot;Get a grip&quot;.

And, right now, deservedly so. SEC and the Big 12 are the only conferences resembling anything of strength.

@Boz1Buckeye

No touched nerves here.

I know enough about OSU: Beanie Wells got hurt in the third quarter going for a touchdown in a game that was out of hand....against a cupcake team. So, let's cut the lectures, eh? As I said, Pot, Kettle, Black.

The coach's comment was made in the first quarter (7-3). No need to harbor any bad feelings there. Mark's comment was made in the third quarter (28-3). You know, USC was dominating Stanford at about that time last year....we all know how that game ended up. So, if you're complaining about players wanting to finish games off that they failed to finish last year, you need to readjust your expectations of how college football is played.

OSU is more than talanted enough to close a 28-3 gap with 1.5 quarters to play. Maybe I just have more faith in your team than you do?

Based on what you said, I'd have to say you are mostly inaccurate. Like most people in this thread have stated, it sounds more like sour grapes than anything that resembles facts or truth.

Gee, Boz1Buckeye get a grip.
Its just one game. As far as many observers' opinion. Pete Carroll is one of the best motivator in college footbal. He makes his players believe in themselves. And as far as running up the score, at the beginning of the 4th qtr he sent in the backups. I dont have to repeat what Mighty Bleistif already mentioned about the Buckeyes past scoring history. Its bad enough for your team to lose, its worse if your a sore loser.
After saying that, I stil think the Buckeyes are a great team. Tressel is a very good coach, and he deserves more respect than that. And Im sure they will give us hell next year.

After years of not being able to force turnovers, a trademark of <strong>Pete Carroll</strong>'s two national championship teams, this year's group has forced 7 turnovers in the first two games and allowed a total of 10 points, all in the first quarter. &nbsp;<br /><br />"This team reminds me of that national championship team my freshman year," said defensive end <strong>Kyle Moore</strong>. "We were plus 20-something in turnovers that year and we always got a lot of turnovers. While <strong>Beanie Wells</strong> was not playing, it may not have made much difference. With breathtaking speed and quickness, the Trojans held the Buckeyes to 71 yards rushing and 121 yards passing, most of it coming in the first half. <br /><br />USC shut down Ohio State in the third quarter, holding the Buckeyes to only two yards.
