The Style Archive, our museum of college hoops style, is in its third season on SI.com. We already have 107 exhibits on display from the past two seasons, and will be unveiling new batches throughout the tourney ...
Bo Spencer, 6-1 guard, Soph., LSU
Spotted: All season long
Notes: Spencer must be commended for eschewing the standard shoulder-tattoo layout in favor of stars bursting out of the upper edges of his jersey. For this he earns the Archive's first David Bowie-related title.
33. Pharaoh Evans
|34. Ruby Slippers
Jerry Smith, 6-1 guard, Jr., Louisville
Classification: Adidas kicks
Spotted: March 14 vs. Syracuse
Notes: Smith is one of a few Cards who wear these shiny-red models on the court. Their yellow-brick road to the Final Four goes through Dayton and then Indianapolis, where there will be plenty of red in the stands, too.
35. Quick Shave
|36. Going Goth
Duke Blue Devils
Classification: Alternate Nike gear
Spotted: ACC tournament (jerseys only)
Notes: The jersey flair is based on Duke's gothic architecture, and the shoes feature a version of the school's shield. Nike's main edit was leaving out Eruditio et Religio, which was probably hard to fit on the toes.
