Since it's Blake Griffin Day in the blog, I figured I'd run this stunning shot (taken by SI's David E. Klutho) of Griffin's dunk over Michigan guard Zack Novak. I felt bad for Novak, who was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time -- at the end of a break in which Griffin had already taken flight. Novak is 6-foot-5 with limited ups, while Griffin is 6-10 with unlimited ups, so it didn't end well, with Novak sort of half-attempting to take a charge and getting crushed under a Griffin tidal wave.
As Novak walked back to the Michigan bench immediately after it was over, a ruthless Memphis fan stood up and yelled, "Hey, Novak! Your kid is going to have a picture of that on his wall!"
