The Top Groups and Top Fans, as measured by popularity and activity, will be featured on the right rail.</p> <p>Follow this <a href="/community/groups">link</a> to the Groups page, where you can easily find a new Group to join that shares your interests. You can start your own Group by simply pressing the "Start Your Own Group" button in the middle of the page.</p> <p>The <a href="/community/fans">"Fans" page</a> gives top billing to the FanNation Bloggers, Throwdown Leaders and Most Active Fans. In that time we have made some subtle improvements in look and feel -- i.e. adding the Recent Posts for each fan blog -- but have mostly been hard at work addressing your main concern: the Community page. We want to offer you a sneak peak below.<br /><br />Some of the more prominent features will include the following:<br /><br />1) Live Fan Feed (<a href=" http://si.com/2008_images/community-home.jpg">Preview</a>)<br /><br />Follow the entire FanNation community with real-time updates of Fan Blogs, Throwdowns, Message Board posts and Comments, Group connections and Truth &amp; Rumors. In response to the massive amount of feedback, boh positive and&hellip; <p>We'd like to thank you for your patience during the extensive redesign we unveiled here nearly two weeks ago. In response to the massive amount of feedback, boh positive and negative, we have prioritized the most important fixes and enhancements that you've asked for. We are listening, and we'd like you to bring you up to speed on the improvements made since re-launching FanNation. Below are the major changes we've implemented, along with some things that will be tweaked shortly. (In addition, a Community page will return, with advanced features that will allow you to track all that is happening on FanNation in real time, as well as a Groups page.)</p> <ul> <li>The ablity to make your Groups private is functioning again. Furthermore, you will have your private Groups message boards back within the next few days.</li> <li>The FanMail button has been added to the top of your page once you sign in, and the amount of new mail you have received is displaying as well.</li> <li>Navigation: The ability to move to the Next and Previous Truth &amp; Rumor items has been restored.</li> <li>The white background has been replaced with a subtle gray background.</li> <li>On the Throwdowns home page, we've ncreased the number of Throwdowns in progress from 4 to 12; increased the Open Throwdowns from 2 to 6; increased the number of Completed Throwdowns, from 2 to 6; and increased the number of Closed Throwdowns, from 2 to 6.</li> <li>Fixed the "Quote" functionality to have them displayed before a comment while adding a time stamp.</li> <li>On the Blogs home page, we've placed Fan Blogs at the top of the page, above all other blogs, instead of in the middle of the page.</li> <li>We've added a Games tab on the global navigatin bar, as well as callouts to the games on the right side of all pages.</li> <li>Added a Throwdowns Leaderboard on the right side of all Throwdown pages, except for the home page, where the larger Leaderboard sits.</li> <li>Added a widget that displays the most recent posts from the best blogs across the web.</li> </ul> <p><br />There are several other improvements that you will notice in the coming days and weeks.
