Young Min Ko, whose error fed the Japanese rally in the last half inning, pops out on the first pitch from Hisashi Iwakuma. On 2-2, Kyung Oan Park strikes out looking on a slider that looks to drop sharply out of the zone, but must have crossed at the knees. Ki Hyuk Park then grounds out to second on the very next pitch. That was a seven-pitch inning for Iwakuma, who has needed just 30 tosses to retire the Koreans in order the first time through the lineup.
