Seiichi Uchikawa, who made that great play in the last half, leads off. How many times does a guy make a great play . . . (A: once every nine times)

This game is living up to it's billing. If this 1-1 tie persists another inning or two, things are going to get really intense.

Uchikawa grounds to short and is retired by a nice ranging play by Ki Hyuk Park.

Tatsunori Hara sends lefty-hitting Atsunori Inaba up to hit for righty-swinging DH Kenta Kurihara against the righty Hyun Wook Jong. Kurihara was 0-for-2 with a strikeout and a double play. Inaba grounds out to second in his place. Jong then strikes out Akinori Iwamura on four pitches.
