ESPN returns from the break with Yoshiyuki Kataoka already on first base following a first-pitch single to left. There's nothing that infuriates me more than when a broadcast misses a pitch. ESPN just missed a hit in a championship gmae that's tied in the seventh inning.

Kataoka steals second on the 1-0 pitch to Ichiro Suzuki, who showed bunt on the pitch, but pulled back to take ball two. Suzuki then drops a perfect bunt hit down the third-base line to put runners on the corners with none out for Hiroyuki Nakajima, who as singled and walked in his last two at-bats.

The first pitch from Hyun Wook Jong is a changeup that Nakajima swings over. The next is a fastball inside that Nakajima serves into left for an RBI single. 2-1 Japan.
