Lefty Hyunjin Ryu is in for Korea. He'll face lefty-hitting Atsunori Inaba with one out and a runner on first base.

Hyun Wook Jong's line, pending the runner on first, is 3 1/3 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 4 K

Ryu starts Inaba off with a pair of 93 mph fastballs, one a ball low and away, one a strike inside. Inaba then pulls a changeup just fair down the first-base line. It hops into the stands, forcing Seiichi Uchikawa to hold at third base as Inaba gets a ground-rule double.

Akinori Iwamura up with two men in scoring position. Ryu falls behind him 2-0. Iwamura lifts a fly ball to left and Hyun-Soo Kim's throw is a rainbow that goes way up the first base line as Uchikawa scores and Inaba advances.
